A Storm Most Unexpected

A Storm Most Unexpected

I recently experienced my very first Storm! Now having lived in Cape Town for 24 years, I was used to Cape Town being called the “Cape of Storms”; I have fond memories of the “The Cape Doctor” – which was a really rough South-Easter wind that would rock the Mother City; the generally just some crazy weather patterns that would hit the Mother City at any time of year. I even tried to save a little bird I found on the sidewalk on our way home from school when I was really little. He didn’t make it through the night, but I sure loved him. I’ve...
