Where is home

One year ago today I embarked on a new adventure. I got on a plane from Dubai and 7 hours later found myself in Düsseldorf, Germany. The journey started off as all journeys to new and unexplored territories start off: feelings of nervousness, being overwhelmed, culture-shock, language limitations. Lady Gretchen is back!

I’m Back! Hello everyone. As you can see, Lady Gretchen is back. I took a break for various reasons and now I am ready to get back to blogging and entertaining you all. We both craved fresh air and Pork and we were fortunate enough to come home to Europe (and when I say, home, I mean hubby’s homeland – since I am a Green-blooded Saffie). We now live in Düsseldorf. And as different as the Middle East was for me to adjust to, so too is Germany. Not only do I have to learn the language, but I also am learning the culture – and there is so much to tell you. For now, I am just happy to have my blog again and I look forward to sharing...
